Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Sorry, how do think the drive should be connected? USB C directly to the host computer and USB to a powered USB hub? But the hub should not be connected to the host? I wonder because basically data was sent both though USB A and USB C: I tried connecting them alternatively and with both ...

Re: Make "ASUS SBW-06D5H-U" UHD friendly?
I used the mentioned tools on this forum with the 1.03 MK firmware for the BU40N and it worked without issues. My drive is now identified as a HL-.... drive and no longer as the ASUS model it is according to the box. So far no problems.

Re: By far not 6x rip speed after flashing to MK 1.03
OK, thank you very much! In the meantime I ripped additional discs for testing and for some of them (non UHD), I also reached 5.6x speed which is completely ok. I was just wondering why the drive didn't even seem to crank up the speed on that first disc, but there might be other reasons ofc.

Re: How to backup PS3 media
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ask anything inappropriate. It just appeared to me, that using libredrive and the backup functionality of MakeMKV a true 1:1 copy could be made (for personal archival/disaster recovery!), which would otherwise maybe not possible with closed firmware drives.

By far not 6x rip speed after flashing to MK 1.03
I've flashed my ASUS SBW-06D5H-U A102 (MT1959 internals) with the BU40N MK 1.03 firmware to enable libredrive features and then tried to rip a BR movie. Though above 2.0x speed, it seems to never go higher than 3.5x during the whole process. The drive is capable of 6x and the BRs are mint condition ...

How to backup PS3 media
Hello,
I understood with a libredrive enabled BR drive I would be able to also backup PS3 BRs.
What do I need to do here?
The disk is recognized in Windows as a data bluray and also in MakeMKV, but after inserting the disc, nothing can be selected (the big icon, nor the backup menu).
