Form original bn11 to HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-BN11-0M00300-211711201351.bin
simple write, no recover. I'm not sure if you'll need this step if you go for an bu40 1.00 or bu40 1.03mk after that.

As mentioned in the Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide I wanted to flash the BH16NS55 (Firmware 1.05, manufactured november 2020) to WH16NS60 1.02MK

But the SDFtool flasher does not recognize it as the right drive platform?
And MakeMKV does not show that Libredrive is possible?

What's wrong ...

I'm using the flathub version.

It installs to:

/var/lib/flatpak/app/com.makemkv.MakeMKV

The lib is in:

/var/lib/flatpak/app/com.makemkv.MakeMKV/current/active/files/lib/libmmbd.so.0


Soo the command would be:


sudo ln -s /var/lib/flatpak/app/com.makemkv.MakeMKV/current/active/files/lib/libmmbd ...

Wish I'd seen this thread earlier, I also have the Chinese one which in SDFtool Flasher it shows that it's NOT the MT1959 platform and therefore not flashable.

The compatibility lists really should list this info... just wasted $100.
