I just wanted to say thanks for this post. As shown in the before/after photos, I did a similar fix based on what you described. When the bottom plate is put back on the drive, it seems to do well keeping the cables off of the brass screw that moves the laser sled.

I am getting the same error. I am not sure if daspi installed correctly or not, as I am an inexperienced user with nothing to base it on.

Any help out there?

When I try to install the daspi_1.3.pkg, the installer fails. I tried a second time and it failed again.

Any ideas?
