Re: The Counselor - Extended Edition (Missing Audio Tracks)
The 40GB title is a featurette called ' Truth of the Situation: Making The Counselor '. It is a 'hybrid' combining Ridley Scott's commentary with 13 featurettes which are accessed via seamless branching while the film plays. There is no PiP content here; instead, the featurettes simply start at vari...

Re: The Counselor - Extended Edition (Missing Audio Tracks)
Dear Woodstock, I think you misunderstood me. I'm not referring to what gets selected by default... i'm saying the 'Commentary' audio track is missing in the title's playlist. Unlike all my other discs, this does not show up at all. And this seems to be happening only in MakeMKV. tsMuxerGUI and MKVM...

The Counselor - Extended Edition (Missing Audio Tracks)
Just got my shiny new disc of The Counselor (Extended Cut). When I play the disc on my PS3, I get the DTS-HD Audio just fine. And the commentary track as a selectable option. All OK. Popped the disc into MakeMKV for my usual backup ritual... and surprisingly only the main DTS-HD track shows. The com...

Re: Mono LPCM Timestamp Issues
Done. Have emailed the .txt file to support@makemkv.com using WeTransfer.
If, for some reason it doesn't reach you, HERE's a link to the file directly. [http://we.tl/FONNvnxFgy]
Thanks once again. Looking forward to a solution.

Re: Mono LPCM Timestamp Issues
Installed Homebrew. Ran 'brew install mkvtoolnix' in my Terminal window. Seems to be hanging/getting stuck at: Last login: Mon Dec 23 23:53:38 on ttys000 SDs-MacBook-Pro:~ SD$ brew install mkvtoolnix ==> Installing dependencies for mkvtoolnix: boost, libogg, libvorbis, lib ==> Installing mkvtoolnix ...

Re: Mono LPCM Timestamp Issues
Thanks for replying Mike. And apologies in advance. I'm not a very 'tech'y person, so please forgive my question. But can this command be run on a Mac? I usually perform my backups with MakeMKV on my Mac. And have boot camped into Windows only for playback (to get HD-Audio streaming in it's full glo...

Mono LPCM Timestamp Issues
This seems to be an issue that keep cropping up. My searches actually yielded complains about it from way back in 2011 (albeit on other forums - not here). But it looks like the root cause of this is something to do with the timestamp that MakeMKV puts on the audio when ripping Mono LPCM tracks from...

Re: Naming the tracks!
Whoa! Thanks Chetwood.
I actually did do a search... but was searching for 'track' name instead of 'file' name.
This is great. Thanks!
[Apologies for starting this thread!]

Naming the tracks!
It would be nice to be able to name our tracks before MakeMKV commences. I generally name my tracks after MakeMKV is done, using MKVToolnix. So if I have multiple audio/subtitle tracks, I label them corresponding to what they are. Example: "Dolby TrueHD - 7.1" or "Commentary" etc...

Re: Problem converting my ISOs.
Thanks for the reply SC, I don't think that could be an issue. I converted a few more of my ISOs to MKVs with success onto the same drive. And since I'm on a Mac... am not too sure if there is any native way to defrag a drive - as OS X handles all data dumps 'smartly'. The strange part is... that th...

Problem converting my ISOs.
Hi guys, As a movie buff who travels a lot, I carry around my collection my hard drives instead of my original BDs itself - primarily in the fear i'll scratch the hell out of them otherwise. I used to store all my DVDs and BDs as ISOs... but now, I've commenced condensing my library; and since I hav...
