Bullseye! That was it. A USB2 cable worked. I'll have to try with a different FW800 cable maybe it'll work.

I totally agree with you about the system that has to recognize the drive first!

Problem is I only have one FW800 port on my PC. :/

Hey! Happy to see MakeMKV is still going strong! :D Haven't tried ripping BR is years and now I'm back at it. Unfortunately, my BR drive won't show up on OS 10.11.4. Do I need to install drivers or something I forgot? It says LG on the drive door (model number OWCMRF8UEBDW14). The drive doesn't show...

I started to rip my bluray movies collection and I got some discs I can't rip.

Is there some movies that are known not to be able to be ripped?

Those didn't work for me :

- Due Date
- Forgetting Sarah Marshall
- Good Fellas
