Re: Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
I can confirm that 667 is correct for RedBox. The TrueHD soundtrack worked fine, with both it and the DD extracted. You also want to enable the second English subtitle.

Re: Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
has anyone determined the REDBOX version? the disk doesn't look to be a rental version but it still populate so many fake playlists. I tried 667 but the audio is broken throughout the movie. My Mac won't play DD TrueHD soundtracks. They cut in and out. DD plays fine. Also, I seem to recall that wit...

Re: HELP NEEDED - How to RIP from files copied to hard drive
I'm glad someone dug into this a bit, because I've been having an increasing problem with disc errors. They are not damaged discs, even though MakeMKV says they are, and it's not a drive power problem, because I'm using full sized drives in powered enclosures. Which error I get depends on the drive....

The Maze Runner
This disc presented some problems, but I seem to have found the work around. My Sony Drive had a difficult time even loading the disc, which is brand new, then it choked about 20% into the rip. I also have an LG drive which has often worked on discs the Sony didn't like. However, the LG drive also c...

Re: Supernatural: Season 2 - Not separate episodes?
If your final destination is something you compress with HandBrake, it is pretty simple. You still need to find which chapters are the beginning and end of each episode, but then you just select those chapters in HandBrake and export each episode separately. Most if not all the seasons of Dexter are...

Re: USB 3.0 External BluRay ROM Rip Speeds
I prefer buying the internal drive and enclosure separately, and full sized drives will always perform better and last longer than slot drives. Then you can get the features you want and the price is always lower in the end. I use an Optiarc 7261S and a Bytecc USB 3.0 enclosure. Total price several ...
