Can this really be a drive from LG? The front looks exactly like an Asus BW-16D1HT. Does Asus sometimes slap the faceplate of an Asus BW-16D1HT onto drives from other manufacturers and sell them as Asus drives?

I just bought a new (not used) Asus BW-16D1X-U. Its serial number starts with TCD. The sticker on the bottom of the device tells me that it was manufactured in December 2025. Now I would like to find out what internal drive is installed in this external drive that was sold to me as an Asus BW-16D1X-...
