I recently had my drive flashed and purchased MakeMKV.
MakeMKV has no issues reading Blu-Ray discs on Windows.
MakeMKV has no issues reading standard DVD on Linux.
MakeMKV seems to not even be able to open a Blu-Ray disc on Linux.
Generally getting errors like:
