Note of course I haven't even gotten to the point of having to read a 4K disc as I haven't yet been able to flash the drive. I continue to successfully burn single and double layer discs from one of the front 3.0 ports on my computer. When I once again get to the point of trying to flash the drive ...

After doing this, I was still unable to rip newer UHD releases (4K James Cameron - Aliens, The Abyss, and True Lies all unreadable). I then cross-flashed to HL-DT-ST BD-RE BP60NB10 VERSION 1.0 - (libre-drive enabled). It is now reading the Cameron 4Ks, Aliens and Abyss have now ripped 4K Dolby ...
