Update: The drive works fine and MakeMKV is able to recognize and read my disks fine from Windows (In the exact same computer), but I am running a truenas app for my actual implementation and that is causing it to fail in this manner. Maybe I need a different forum for that.

Hello forum, I have recently obtained an older Pioneer Blue-ray reader. Whenever I have tried to load a disk, it gets stuck at perpetually 'Disk is being loaded...'. I have tried just waiting literal hours, it is connected to known good SATA, and I have had this install of MakeMKV read and rip DVDs ...
