Re: Bullet Train 4k “hash check error”
Hello, it seems I am not able to rip the movie bullet train 4K Blu-ray Disc. It starts out ripping the disk and then I get an error and it stops. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. If I can provide more details or information about where to get some log output, I can provide that. Thanks in...

General question about discs with multiple PGS files
Hello!
Just curious why some discs have multiple, in my case, English PGS files. Here's just one example from Mission Impossible Final Reckoning.

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2026
How do you backup your original firmware before flashing? I would like to be able to revert if it doesn't go right. Using linux. Have both makemkv 1.17.7 and 1.18.3. Running makemkvcon f --version for either reports LibDriveIo/SdfTool version: 2.6 Edit: Just bought the BP50NB40 NB52 . I'm probably ...

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
"Thanks guys. I didn't want to seem like I was complaining about the submissions, but self-serve really is the quickest and easiest option for everyone where possible. Great to hear the custom data folder location is handled properly, I know that can be a source of frustration for MakeMKV users...

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
I had great success with the Samurai tool. Thank you for pointing me in that direction. It's easy and also, make sure your makemkv points to the updated directory. I did the Samurai tool and makemkv didn't work because I hadn't changed the database folder location. Very impressive.

I want to share my experience with Frank. The transaction was flawless and Frank was great in answering some questions I had before purchasing. The drive arrived a few hours ago and I'm already watching an uncompressed 4k movie through Plex on a tv in my house. The picture is unreal. If you're on th...

Which UHD movie would you rip first?
Hello!
I'm about to start this hobby and was curious what everyone would rip for their first UHD, or what everyone did rip when they did it previously. Just curious what people say. Nothing formal.
Have a good one, folks.
Brian
