What the heck. I swear I tried that 2-3 times before posting. It worked this time. Exact steps for those in the same situation in the future:

Open SDFtool flasher.exe, run as administrator
Select optical Blu-ray drive
select Recover Drive
select DE_LG_BU40N_1 ...

I have a WP50NB40 NB52. I successfully cross flashed it to BU40N 1.00. Used it to burn 4K for a few weeks, then the drive started having issues reading discs. I need to send this to LG for a warranty device swap, but I want to downgrade the firmware to anything that will show WP50NB40 in the Device ...
