right my asus BW 16D1HT drive and icybox arrived this morning
im a little confused but hopefully all went well, i had downloaded the patched updater and all the bins! from this thread

so i loaded the updater, it stated the drive was on f/w 3.03, so i thought from here when i clicked ...

As @SamuriHL said, I have patched the official ASUS 3.02 Updater (see last post of page 1) so that is all that you need to downgrade a BW-16D1HT from 3.03 to 3.02, even via USB.

This makes it a hell of a lot easier!!!

I have patched the official ASUS BW-16D1HT 3.02 Firmware Updater using Mike's instruction and used this to downgrade a BW-16D1HT-PRO with 3.03 to a BW-16D1HT with 3.02 by using just this exe.

The drive was connected via USB and firmware update (downgrade!) worked flawlessly ...

hi ya, thanks for updating this thread, like yourself im a bit late to this game, but might take a punt on that drive from ccl, have you mounted yours externally or are you using it as an internal drive, i only have a laptop to use, so would need to put it in a case

Have tried several times to rip the 3D disc to mkv gets all the way throu and then says failed

There are 2 38gb flies and have tried both

Have latest ver of MakeMKV

Any ideas or anyone else have this issue

Can you post how you selected the silent track? Had no problems with the Atmos, but am stumped trying to add the silent tract.

I used "mkvtoolnix" and crossed the streams so to speak and the outcome was brilliant.

Not sure why they decided to re-release the Atmos version NOT in 3D, but my goodness it deserves it!

clearly states on the box Dolby Atmos

using Windows10 i have MAKE MKV ver 1.9.10

i thought i had ripped all the audio tracks, and when i played it thru my mede8er X3D player it was not atmos, only DTS HD MSTR

so i completely re rippped it with ...

tried doing a lot of searching for this, and not really found anything definitive
