Missing color metadata led to wrong colors when re-encoding
Hey everyone, I am currently working on ripping my BD collection and encoding it to AV1 to save space. After quite some discs I noticed a color difference between source and encoded material and again after quite some testing I found that the issue was the 10-bit color conversion that is always reco...

Re: MakeMKV does absolutely nothing when opening index.bdmv or MovieObject.bdmv
Just found this post via Google when I had the same issue and thought I can maybe help someone.
In my case on Fedora 43 it was because the backup was on an NTFS partition. When I copied it to my root ext4 partition I could open it without any issues.

I thought libredrive would be enabled "automatically" since the firmware is flashed. So I need to use makemkvcon for this?

Re: Can't decrypt iso with keydb
Thanks for the recommendation! The tool threw a ton of errors indeed, guess I need to try a different drive or disc.

Re: Can't decrypt iso with keydb
I'm having the exact same issue here with the Lion King 4K. Normal ripping with MakeMKV looks like it's working, but is always failing at some point. So I took the time and created an iso with ddrescue after many attempts, but now decrypting this encrypted backup is failing for some reason. This pro...
