I haven't flashed it yet, but if I flash it one day and later want to revert to the original firmware as it was when I bought it, how can I do that?

You don't "burn" a 4K blu-ray as there is no such thing as blank 4K discs.

If you are talking about the Verbatim 43888 with a LG BU40N inside, "ripping" a 4K UHD disc takes anywhere from 45mins to 90mins.

I can confirm that the first link is a valid drive. I bought that same one like a month ago although it took several weeks to ship (I finally got it last week). I was able to flash it and confirmed I could rip 4K discs with it.
