This appears to still be an issue with makemkv v1.18.3 (Linux). Funny thing is, playback is fine on a standalone (Oppo) blue-ray player (no glitches, no sync issue). I agree with globbing (or just plain shortening) the drive firmware filename. I originally used the "slim_" prefix because I thought there were both slimline and full-height versions of this drive, but after looking around awhile, that doesn't appear to be the case (they're all slim). I'm ...

Updating this thread as a courtesy to the developer: The license issue has been corrected for some time now. I just purchased one this morning, and the invoice and key were emailed to me within seconds. The key was recognized and unlocked makemkv.
