Re: Converting Video TS Files
probably a badly encoded DVD... what you can do is get mkvtoolnix and append all mkv files.... download mkvtoolnix open mkvtoolnix-gui.exe move the first mkv file into the window and select "add as new input file" Then select all other mkv files and move them into the window and select &qu...

Re: Can I get rid of widescreen bars on a TV show?
you could also simply use MPC-HC and madVR as renderer... madVR has a autocrop feature which crops on playback... it will not remove black bars permanently (if you play it on other players they are still there), but you don't have to reencode the files.... any file will work, including all files you...

Re: How make backup MKVs of my total discs?
the reason someone remuxes BDs to mkv is that they don't want to have menus...
If you want to e.g. strip foreign audio lines and extras etc and keep BD structure, therefore menus, there are a lot of other tools for that...

blank audio track name by default
since v1.7.10 it is possible to blank audio name (thanks for that), but I'm wondering if it's possible to blank audio names by default... currently audio name is automatically channel mapping (2/0, 3/2+1, etc), but couldn't channel mapping simply be put in Track information, after channels ? e.g. Ch...

I don't think there is such a tag in mkv... only way would be checking if you can edit XBMC manually...

Re: Deselecting Titles without Audio
I have 5 sec set.... this is because the smallest extra I had was a Deleted Scene with a runtime of 8 seconds... I don't want to check what Extras are on every BD and I don't want to miss anything... so it has got to be that low... but the side effect is that I get a lot of menus... If I can get mak...

Deselecting Titles without Audio
When using MakeMKV, I always rip extras from movies and TV Shows... so usually I need to select all titles of a BD/DVD.... but some BD/DVDs have a lot of titles that don't have any audio, which is mostly menus etc so I don't need them... is there a way to auto deselect titles that don't have any aud...

Re: What audio formats to choose
selecting the HD Audio only should be fine, you won't need the other 2... Extras are usually all seperate video/audio files, so of course you will get a bunch of mkvs.... but if the files have the same specs (same codecs, same number of channels, same resolution) you can merge all of them to one fil...

Re: Change MakeMKV aspect ratio when ripping?
yeah you could set mkv crop, but it really wouldn't make any difference... like you said most players don't support it and it would only make sense on a full-frame display... and who watches movies on a full-frame display these days... but there's something I got a problem with... I ripped a bluray ...

Re: Change Audio-Track/Stream Name for BluRay/DVD rips
well you can autoselect one language, that save half the time of selecting... what's bugging me is that it doesn't auto-select HD audio but core instead... I currently extract the subtitles with eac3to and view them in suprip to figure out which subtitle to select... too bad the publishers don't fla...

Re: Audio name
It does... When you click on the audio stream, Track information reads:
Type: Audio
Flags: Director's comments
Name: 2/0

Audio name
atm it is not possible to NOT give the audio stream a name... if you delete the name, it goes right back to the original "2/0".. is there any way to bypass that? (maybe next update) I do not want to have a title for my audio streams... also do you have any plans for an option like "De...
