Thank you very much for the information, I tried it out right away. However, version 1.17.7 tells me it is to old and I am asked to download the current version.

Thats weired, i also run makeMKV on Debian 13, and i have no problem at all. It just works as it should.
Have you installed makeMKV direct from the link from the forum ?
I did it as follow. i took the 1.8.2 link from the forum, used the guide by downloading the files and started the ...
