Just a quick update. After seeing it get hung up again on disc 2 I thought I'd try leaving it and I occupied myself elsewhere for a few hours. When I returned, it had read the disc and was ready to copy! So I guess sometimes certain discs like these just need a lot more time.

I wonder if someone can help me. I'm trying to create files from 3 DVD discs of a TV series. Disc 1 was read and copied just fine. Discs 2 and 3 are read okay but then get hung up during the "Opening DVD disc" stage and the program won't complete this step like it did for disc 1. Here's th...
