Hah--I was *just* going to post this exact request, and for the same disc. I was super bummed when shift-unclick did not work. Glad to know this "one simple trick".

On the very odd chance a fellow ubuntu noob sees the 'you need java' error/notice in the MakeMKV log and would like it to go away--this here (mined from @librelibre's post) seems to have worked for me: sudo apt install libbluray-bdj openjdk-17-jre This is running Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS, MakeMKV v1.18.3 ...

The posting date on that original post is 2019. I've checked a few of the recommended drives & didn't find any that were available for sale new (which, I get it--the physical media industry is kind of on the downswing). So maybe I do really need to e.g., scour ebay for the oldies. But seeing tha...
