Re: LG Electronics BP60NB10 suddenly stopped working

So my LG drive was ripping blu-rays just fine. Then suddenly I swapped to another disc to start and the drive just kept spinning. It was late at night so I chose to close makemkv and turn the computer off. The next day, my computer no longer recognizes the drive at all. So it's not even an issue ...

Re: New UHD drive, walk me through like I'm 5.

Okay, long story short, I have in the past bricked a drive doing things out of order (my fault), so now I have a nice paper weight. I recently purchased the LG Ultra Slim BP60NB10 model. And of course, I need a libre drive flashed. What I would like to know, is the step by step process. I know ...

Re: All you need and Mk-firmware files?

There is also a big warning that says, "Don't crossflash desktop drives to slim drives or the other way around."

Maybe one of the guys can help?

Yeah that was one of my fatal flaws I made I'm afraid. I followed the embedded video, ran into the issue then scrolled down to see the warnings. Not ...

All you need and Mk-firmware files?

Apologies for the vague description. But I'm probably just dumb and not being able to put the pieces together but want to make sure I follow the path correctly for flashing or re-flashing. Long story short, I wanted to properly flash my drive for the LibreDrive. I mistakenly flashed the drive using ...

Re: Desktop to Slim drive nightmare, need help

So I was able to finally get the SDF file moved to the data directory for MAKEmkv. However, though it no longer says "downloading", my drive is still unable to read any disc. Whether DVD/BLU-RAY/ or 4K. I'm wondering if there is/was an additional step during the flash or process I may have missed or ...

Re: SDF update 2025

I may be smooth braining it over here, but the program for me isn't finalizing the download for me. It continues to download "Downloading latest SDF to C:\Users\halst.DESKTOP-OA8A8RA/.MakeMKV ..." as the message. And my drive isn't reading discs.

Re: Desktop to Slim drive nightmare, need help

So it isn't an issue with the discs themselves. I've tried different ones. I'm getting the same "Downloading latest SDF to C:\Users\halst.DESKTOP-OA8A8RA/.MakeMKV ..." even after the fix. So my first question is, I've seen others manually download it. But when I download the SDF file, I can't move ...

Re: Desktop to Slim drive nightmare, need help

The visual aid. You need to pick first what is currently flashed to the drive and then in the second box WH16NS60 1.02 which can be found in the All you need firmware package.

Okay, awesome. It allowed me the flash and finish that. Now I just need you to get my over the mountain  Eject ...

Re: Desktop to Slim drive nightmare, need help

The title states, I'm pretty sure I chose the wrong Libre flash for my drive. I have a Buffalo BRXL-16U3, And instead of searching forums I chose to take a crack at SDFtool flasher. And I'm now sitting here with what I'm pretty sure is a bricked drive. My dumb *** thought since the drive is ...
