I know this won't help, but the last time I had a computer that could multi-task multiple drives simultaneously was an Amiga 500. Separate processors for just about everything in it. Additional info: I closed and restarted the first instance (while the second was running). Again it asked which drive and I chose the first drive. Loaded a disc and it detected it. Clicked the Open DVD disc button. Got the following log: Using direct disc access mode Error 'Scsi error - NOT READY:LO...

Did all that. The Windows version doesn't seem to have a "New instance" in the menu.
The second instance seems to work properly. The first instance (which asked which drive), flips to the second drive after ejecting the disc it just finished in the first drive.

Multiple instances
Hi, I have two drives I want to be able to use simultaneously to back up series box sets. Opening two instances of MakeMKV mostly works, until it doesn't. The biggest problem is more of an annoyance. When one disc finishes and you eject it, the drive selection automatically flips to the other (busy)...
