It flashed successfully! Thanks! I'll try it when I get a UHD disk. I just want to get newer firmware for writing disks. In fact, I did exactly that, but unfortunately they removed the metal casing. Unlike general laptop optical drives that have metal casing protection, this optical drive only has the core.

They do something modifications on the board that converts slimline SATA to USB to change the optical drive's model number.

I got the same one. When I install it on my notebook, it shows BD-MLT UJ272. So it's not the MT1959 platform,and not LG's BD Driver too.

Successfully cross-flashed my 16D1H-U with A201 firmware to WH16NS58.
I flashed it to "A204," then "WH16NS60-1.03," and finally "WH16NS58-1.V5".
This will be the disc quality check driver.

I'm trying to find a Pioneer driver for burning discs.
