Well I tried the latest Keydb.cfg and no change I still get the same message saying the disk can't be decrypted. however I use Linux and once i renamed the file to KEYDB.cfg it was able to open the disk and save the video of the movie

Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV? I did click the link in MakeMKV program that said this disc uses a newer version of AACS protection. Please let us know about it visiting the link. The link was for makemkv website. I didn't email them yet though.

I have Ripped 100s of Blu-rays from new releases to older ones with no trouble but this is the first one time i have ever got that the disk uses a newer version of AACS.
