Re: Forced subtitle editor
No, it doesn't. So the example is its an English language film but someone is speaking French or Vulcan or what have you riefly or a few times in the movie, or there's a road sign in a foreign language and a forced subtitle in English appears. Gosh, you play the movie and wait for the first scene w...

Forced subtitle editor

Can anyone recommend an editor for forced subtitles? i want to be able to preview the text to see if there is in fact anything included, previewing the playback to see if there are forced subtitles does not work si...

Include foreign language where it is the intended language
Hi
I use the tokens to select default tracks (English language). Can I also use the tokens to select the default audio, where that may not be English eg where French is the actual language of a French movie I'd like to select French as my default?
thanks

Error message with Avatar 2D/3D Disc
Hi I get an error message when trying to make an mkv of either or both the 2D and 3D Avatar from an iso I created from my original disc using AnyDVDHD. Any pointers? Thanks very much! This is the error message: MakeMKV v1.7.9 win(x64-release) started Using direct disc access mode AACS directory not ...

New user - how does playback software choose audio track
Hi I have been ripping some of my DVD and Blu rays and selecting the highest quality audio stream. Currently I do not have an AV amp, just a stereo amp, but I want my files to be future proofed but not to be unnecessarily large. If I choose the HD and surround sound audio tracks will my PC be able t...

Re: SCSI Error & AACS host certificate is revoked
More info ... Mounting the iso seems fine, makemkv works ok after I ignore the AnyDVD warning message. Using the internal open file function in makemkv instead of mounting the iso gives the AACS revocation / failed to decrypt error. THEN if I try to mount an iso makemkv gives the same error message....

Re: SCSI Error & AACS host certificate is revoked
I have posted many times on the AACS revocation problem I am having with virtual clone drive. I have no idea really what this means but it sounds like the virtual drive has been locked such that it can't read encrypted discs when used with makemkv. It's fine to mount them while running AnyDVD and pl...

Re: None of my Blu ray iso files are read by MakeMkv
I just posted this over on AnyDVD ... Interesting ... I tried with a physical blu ray disc and AnyDVD running and low and behold makemkv worked. This is a pain as I have all my discs ripped to iso and the physical discs are in deep storage,so would appreciate any ideas or knowledge why my protected ...

Re: None of my Blu ray iso files are read by MakeMkv
What has got me puzzled is why makemkv has stopped working with my Blu ray iso files all of a sudden, when it was fine a week or so ago. Others use makemkv to convert their AnyDVD ripped and protected Blu ray iso files without issue, so I am just looking for where to start troubleshooting this. I h...

Re: None of my Blu ray iso files are read by MakeMkv
Hi! Make your life simple and just use MakeMKV to DIRECTLY ( NO AnyDVD, DVDFab, etc.) re-rip your original Blu-ray discs That will be my last step since I'll have to haul the discs out of deep storage. What has got me puzzled is why makemkv has stopped working with my Blu ray iso files all of a sud...

Re: "Failed to Open Disc" on every BD (and Unencrypted ISO)
OK, I have tried this again and still no luck, I used to be able to load and convert Blu rays but something has changed I am on version 1.7.4 with the current Key. This is the error message I get with every Blu ray when I use the makemkv load file facility: MakeMKV v1.7.4 win(x64-release) started Us...

Re: "Failed to Open Disc" on every BD (and Unencrypted ISO)
Hi
Was there a solution to this problem as I am getting similar failure messages with encrypted AnyDVD ripped iso Blu ray files (whether AnyDVD is on or off). I am using a beta key. I have posted a similar thread as older ones not Progressed since March.
Thanks v much

None of my Blu ray iso files are read by MakeMkv
Hi I ripped my Blu ray library with AnyDVD HD to iso. I tried to convert a bunch of these iso files using makemkv, but it says failed to decrypt, can't read. Tried with AnyDVD on and off, no difference. DVDs seem fine. Tried this with 300, 2001 A space odyssey and Alien. All had same problem. Any id...
