Didn't end up using MakeMKV or DVDShrink in my case, but for future reference, this is how I solved my issue. copy VTS_01_1.VOB to hard drive (this is where my extras menu and the animation stills were stored. the stills were all compressed into the first second of this video. open file in VLC and f...
