Alright, I figured out my problem. If I turn off the vdadecoder which uses hardware acceleration to playback the h264 encoding, it works with no issues. At least I know this isn't a mkv ripping issue. Now I just need to figure out why the hardware acceleration is broken for this one movie.

A new svq file was created so that Chronicle could be ripped from the Bluray since the disc contains a new version of bd+. I can rip the Bluray with no errors or problems. The problem is during playback. I will watch the movie, and then during specific points, the picture will glitch and turn black....
