MakeMKV rips all episodes as a single large file
I have a particular disc, Spaced season 1, that when I rip it I get a 6GB .mkv file that is the entire season. There are other files which are the extras on the disc.
Is there a way to resolve it automatically?

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2026
Is it actually the Pioneer chip that contains the flash ROM though? I suppose at this stage they probably will have wanted to make that cost optimization, if they are making a custom driver IC.

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2026
Has anyone tried simply removing the flash chip, or flashing it in-circuit like you can with some BIOSes on computers? It's not hard to do, all the gear is on AliExpress for peanuts. Seems like a lot of otherwise locked drives could be fixed if it were possible. If I had such a drive I'd open it and...

Definitely best to go direct if you can. They must be suffering right now with the tariffs. I like to support the good European companies, but for me the overriding factors are quality and the company being morally good. Unfortunately there isn't always a choice, e.g. if you want LTO the only questi...

Re: What support is available for registered users?
I agree, it seems mature and stable. Honestly the main problem is that the information you need is spread over multiple threads and not very easy to find.
I would say it needs an FAQ, but there is supposed to be one, it's just not working.

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2026
Yeah, I had in mind to use mine for some other stuff so figured for the small amount extra I might as well get the USB 3 version. In the end it's only ever housed the ASUS drive. Not sure what phone support you would need, and I doubt they make the chipset in the US, it's going to be rebadged Taiwan...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2026
Would one of these enclosures work for flashing with a WH16NS60? NexStar DX2 USB 3.0 I have this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006193051123.html Been using it with a flashed ASUS drive without issue. I got the USB 3 version and also use it for archival grade ripping of audio CDs and old ...

Re: What support is available for registered users?
It's not leaked, you just ask for it. I'm sure your flasher is lovely, but I found the free one very easy to use. There's no need to keep banging that drum. The free one is pretty much foolproof. My concern is that here we have a commercial product where support is only via this forum, and when I've...

Re: What support is available for registered users?
I do like forums for support in general. More so than Reddit or corporate email that takes days to answer. But also it depends on the developer making an effort, and not just hoping that the forum sorts itself out, or relying on a few people there who may or may not be helpful. And I have to say tha...
