I have a particular disc, Spaced season 1, that when I rip it I get a 6GB .mkv file that is the entire season. There are other files which are the extras on the disc.

Is there a way to resolve it automatically?

Is it actually the Pioneer chip that contains the flash ROM though? I suppose at this stage they probably will have wanted to make that cost optimization, if they are making a custom driver IC.

Has anyone tried simply removing the flash chip, or flashing it in-circuit like you can with some BIOSes on computers? It's not hard to do, all the gear is on AliExpress for peanuts. Yeah, I had in mind to use mine for some other stuff so figured for the small amount extra I might as well get the USB 3 version. In the end it's only ever housed the ASUS drive.
