Did you ever get it to work? Because as I said, the first time I tried, it played perfectly fine, until I tried it the other day...
Not big deal since a lot of the 4Ks still come with BR discs, but eventually they might ...

So when I first converted my BDRW to read my 4k disc movies, it worked perfectly.
However, I also tested PLAYING the discs on MPC-HCx64, and they all worked (albeit my current screen isn't HRD compatible so everything looked dark).
