Re: Multiple instances
I loved the Amiga. I think the Babylon 5 special effects were done on the Amiga 2000.

Re: Multiple instances
I know this won't help, but the last time I had a computer that could multi-task multiple drives simultaneously was an Amiga 500. Separate processors for just about everything in it. The CPU just sent the commands and the dedicated processors would take over. But that was a long time ago, barely rem...

Re: Failed To Open Because of Region Issue half way through a box set
Download the program of your choice something like the freeware Nero Infotool. It gives you the info on a dvd like layers, copy protection, Region Coding, etc...see what it says. You may be dealing with knockoffs.

Re: DVD manually & Fake cells help
Just as a troubleshooting aid you could try opening the disk with a different ripping tool like dvdfabdecrypter, dvdshrink or dvddecrpter to see if one of them will open the dvd and rip the disk.

Re: List of Potential Bootlegs
I got most of my bootlegs from:
Ebay
Amazon 3rd party
Walmart 3rd party
All 3 places listed above have gotten better at screening out knockoffs.
Surprisingly, GoodWillBooks.com were all clean except they had a tendency to over buff their DVD's so I would run into a lot of bad ones.

I don't know what O/S you are using but if you can download Nero Infotool, it's freeware and it gives you all the info about a disk. Copy protection (CSS), layers, OTP...etc...I use an ancient version (6) but it works fine on my old Windows XP system

Re: Spider-Man (2002) Backup Fails
Thanks, I figured it out. It looks like it fails ripping the menu. I tried ripping it with Dvdfabdecrypter and shrinking it and sticking it on dvdrw. It still failed mkv full dvd, so i tried dvdshrink and sticking on a dvdrw. mkv full dvd still failed. so i did a movie only rip with dvdshrink and st...

Re: Spider-Man (2002) Backup Fails
Hi,
I decided to try and rip Spider-Man 2002, main disc not the bonus disk.
Windows XP 32 system
Makemkv 1.18.1 in auto mode
De-selected everything but the one big file and 5.1 audio.Went without a hitch. No problems.

Re: Issues with "LOST tv Series"
Hi,
I just ripped Lost Season 1 Disk 2 to check it for you using Makemkv 1.18.1 in auto mode.
I'm using a Windows XP 32 bit box.
Got all 4 episodes. I deselected all subtitles and audio except 5.1 on all 4 episodes. Went without a hitch.
Hope this helps.
