in last weeks I did a lot of full backups
I thought maybe during cold winter time i will do some converting into mkv's at the end

But some other ideas came up, like the Video Station of my NAS or Jellyfin
Both are able to playback BDMV folders
but it seems....none of them really good

I just suggested something what can be done within MakeMKV itself

the messages would be avoided, if the avaible ram would be used, or if you already run into the "limiter" buffer flushed before next mts

the bluray drive seems to read slower after you run into this warning message,, makes sense, else it would read data which cant be stored..cause not using all ram ...

I like to suggest an improvement to MakeMKV for moment you run into Slow HDD messages
eg my Laptoop must use WiFI to the NAS and regular its ok, but sometimes i run into slow copy messages

Now i m trying to figure out ways, to get them played, correctly named and so on
I was surprised videostation from synology can play those folders
i only have issues with DVD playing totally wrong track and no chance to play another one ...

Even trying to just copy the files to hdd was not possible, aacs folder not readable
A friend with a different brand drive was able to read it without any issue

and sometimes i needed to clean brandnew discs to work
but now i havve a disc, where i cant even manually read out the aacs folder in windows explorer, makemkv throws scsi errors

Tried a friends drive, and he can read the disc, so i will get my copy that way

I just noticed my old Laptop has a Pioneer drive
But I cant read UHD
The Laptop is from 2013 or 14
And the drive is named BD-RW BDR-UD03 D

So the D might make a difference

But maybe I found the honeypot and can make it read UHD

only need to select all subtitels after that, so if i have a visitor in non english or my language, they still can read whats going on
as subtitles dont take much space it seems, i keep them all

Manual you can set ONE default language, but not TWO
As a non native english speaker I surely like to get my own language, but often you only get best Audiotrack, if you chose English
Thats why I would like to set 2 default languages

when will i use a different profile than default
AAC,
FLAC (i saw it converts in this case the audio)

Seems doing a full back is a better way to start, as i often dont know which is the right movie and i also like to keep the specials
