Re: Transformers Age of Extinction
I've ripped Transformers Age of Extinction, and MakeMKV was able to recognize the Atmos / True HD file. However, whenever I play the TrueHD file there is no sound. I've got to switch to DD 5.1 sound file to get any sound. Most open-source software can't process TrueHD with Atmos data. Even latest r...

Re: MKV file vs M2TS file? What am I missing?
MakeMKV DOES flag the track as forced. If it's recognized as such which depends on how the disc is authored. Apart from that, ripping with MakeMKV and setting the flag in MKVToolnix's head editor beats Clown_BD hands down. I've had issues with a few movies when directly ripping them with MakeMKV. H...

Re: Feature request regarding file names
With TV episodes usually not in order of the ripped MKV's, wouldn't you need to rename them anyway after ripping and matching the ripped MKV to the correct episode? That's correct. If MakeMKV doesn't rip the episodes in the correct order, then you will have to do some extra work and find out, which...

Re: MKV file vs M2TS file? What am I missing?
I rip movies with ClownBD + AnyDVD HD to BR folder structure. Before, I would just do that. Now, I go the extra step to use the MPLS file from the Folder Structure, and use MKVMerge to make a MKV file, which contains the HD and AC3 sound track, subtitle, and I have the option to flag the forced subt...

Re: Has anyone determinedProper Playlist for "Brave"?
Correct play list is 800.mpls. You will have two area where the audio gets dropped briefly with MKV files. I was not able to use ClownBD with Brave. I get an error with ea3cto, and it is unable to rip it. I had to rip it with MakeMKV, and like usual, audio drops in two specific area. I am currently ...

Re: I cannot use MakeMKV due to AnyDVD HD?
I was able to rip the movie with MakeMKV by using the folder structure option rather than the ISO option. I've use the ISO option before and never had that prompt. The only issue I've got not is that the movie drops the sound and brings it back within less than a second, which is something that I've...

I cannot use MakeMKV due to AnyDVD HD?

Re: HELP! I'm having issues ripping several Blu Ray Discs.
Have you tried using a different ripping software to see if that works to at least read the disk? If it doesn't read the disk then it could be that your BD drive isn't working correctly. I would suggest to download AnyDVD HD free ripper tool to do a test. You will have to exit MakeMKV though.

Lag / jumping small fraction of a frame?
I've been using MakeMKV for 2 years now ripping my DVD collection mainly. I've used it for two blu-ray movies without any issues. I am using the latest FW 1.7.4, and ever since I updated, I've noticed that there is somewhat of a fraction of lagging issue. Is like a small tiny bit jump. I tried showi...
