The lens cleaner tip really helped, and I decided to air dry the disc overnight before applying any cloth wiping. Thanks for all your help, was my first time so now I know I need to be more diligent cleaning new discs.

Resolved! I was able to rip my first 4K UHD

Ok thanks. So far I have used a damp microfiber cloth with a little dishsoap and then dry microfiber cloth wiping center outwards towards the end of the disc as recommended in other areas here. I am using a Vantex Nestar SX2 enclsoure plugging directly into a blue motherboard usb 3.0 port. Let me kn...

Well unfortunately, I may answer my own question. The bonus disc rips totally fine, not sure if the bonus disc is UHD though. The movie disc is still producing a lot of errors just on one file, "Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:LOGICAL UNIT HAS NOT SELF-CONFIGURED YET' occurred while reading ...
