FIXED:
Since I didn't know that I had to clean the new discs, so far, I have ripped two of my UHDs. Thank you so much for your help. I've been dealing with this for months!

It is AC powered. I also tried wiping the lenses with a glasses cloth and it still doesn't want to read discs although it's trying. All kinds of grinding sounds. Reads blu ray and dvd perfectly.
