Hello Everyone. I currently have two ARCHGON - MD-8107S-U3-UHD. According to a post in this forum (on another board) I have flashed both drives with the recommended firmware. It significantly sped up my UHD rips. Recently I started seeing errors when ripping Blu-ray, and after looking up the error, ...

Re: BU40N Firmware for both MakeMKV and DVDFab
Makemkv reports the following: BD-RE-HL-DT-ST BD-RE BU40N 1.01 MZFL4T91101.
The drive seems to be ripping blue rays pretty well. I am currently ripping Star Trek the original Series. Will I encounter any problems with this drive?

Re: MakeMKV combines episodes into one file
Depending upon how the disk is mastered, all episodes can be a single file with menu entries that jump to chapters within that file to play "episodes", or they can be separate files. This can and does change within disks of a series set. And sometimes, a disk will have fake directory entr...

Re: MakeMKV combines episodes into one file
So after Makemkv has decrypted and processed all the titles on the disc, what do you see in the panel? A line for each episode?, only one title? or a list of titles greater than the total of episodes (an image of the display output would help!) ... and how many do you tick? It only happened on two ...
