Well this does appear to be an XBMC issue not an makemkv issue. For me, I use a wireless mouse/keyboard combo. In place of the 10-key is a finger pad to control the mouse. I usually use the mouse to control most things in XBMC using the transparancy! skin.

Re: Is this possible with MakeMKV?
Ok, slightly off topic but to answer your question, YES you can change the audio tracks as well as turn off subtitles in XBMC. The method you ware thinking of is not MKV but .ISO, MakeMKV does not make ISO's of files only pulls the selected video and audio stream you have selected. There are other s...

Re: How to make the output filesize for a BR smaller
Whats the sense of having high def content if you compress it down to 1/5th of its size. You have to loose a significant amount of quality when you do that. For my DVD's I just rip it and put it on my media server. I am thinking I will do the same for the BD disks when I get a reader. My server coul...

Re: USB 3.0 External BluRay ROM Rip Speeds
@mrdamour, I have heard that a lot of the BD drives have rip protection built into the firmware. Basically what you have to do is find the manufacturer of the drive then look for a patched firmware which removes the rip protection. Google around its how I came across the problem, though I don't own ...

Re: MakeMKV crashing
Ok, it I have been able to confirm and reproduce it reliability. This crash occurs under the following conditions: 1. System is running 64bit windows, and of course is a 64bit processor. 2. All windows updates have been applied. 3. After MakeMKV has successfully ripped a DVD and has not been closed....

I have noticed that MakeMKV is starting to crash frequently. It will not happen all the time, and its not on the same DVD. When it happens, this error is displayed: http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/6840/screenhunter03sep021333.jpg Then the GUI crashes. Then with out even thinking about it, I resta...

Re: Problem Encoding Tron DVD (original not Legacy)
Yup! thats what it was. I had cleaned it once but evidently it was not enough. So I used my special spray, buffed it real nice and prety and tried it again. Thanks for the help. The surface of this DVD was cleaner than most I had already ripped, so I was really confused why it was saying that it was...
