Well this does appear to be an XBMC issue not an makemkv issue. For me, I use a wireless mouse/keyboard combo. In place of the 10-key is a finger pad to control the mouse. I usually use the mouse to control most things in XBMC using the transparancy! skin.

@mrdamour, I have heard that a lot of the BD drives have rip protection built into the firmware. Basically what you have to do is find the manufacturer of the drive then look for a patched firmware which removes the rip protection. While the site was down, I had one MakeMKV crash. it did not create a dump file.

I have since rebooted the PC and waiting on another crash.
